Honours Applications & Tracking System (HATS)

Welcome to the Honours Application and Tracking System (HATS) for the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences (MDHS).
 
Once you have submitted your online application for the Bachelor of Science (Honours) or Bachelor of Biomedicine (Honours), you will need to select your preferences for projects offered within MDHS departments using HATS.
 
If you have not already done so, please apply for the Bachelor of Science (Honours) or Bachelor of Biomedicine (Honours) online

Do not submit your preferences using HATS until you have submitted your online application.

Please note: If you are interested in submitting preferences for projects in Genetics, Optometry and Vision Sciences, Veterinary Science or Zoology, please contact the departments directly.

You must submit your preferences in HATS to ensure your application is complete and will be considered.

After applying online, login as an applicant.
Note: the security warning issued from this site is normal, you may need to add the site as an exception.
 
Key Dates:
August-November 2011: Step 1 - Contact potential supervisors to discuss honours projects
 
Friday 19 November 2011: Step 2 - Closing date to submit application online for the Bachelor of Science (Honours) or Bachelor of Biomedicine (Honours)
 
Sunday 28 November 2011: Step 3 - Closing date to submit project preference(s) through HATS for Biomedical Health Science departments
 
3rd week December 2011: First round of offer letters sent by mail to students
 
Friday 7 Jan 2012: Closing date for acceptance/rejection by students of First Round offers
 
Tuesday 11 January 2012 - Second round of selection and mailing of offer letters begins
 
Mid-late February 2012 Honours 2012 begins (check with individual Departments/Institutes for specific starting date and other details
